I drew this piece on some wood I found in a skip outside my house, an elephant dog and pigeon. Animals used in the war (military animals) often loose their lives in service from mail pigeons to cavalry horses they should be respected and remembered.
These are all drawings from reference at the Brighton Booth museum. I took myself down there and really enjoyed the archive of taxidermy animals it is slightly quieter than places like the National History museum so great for sitting down and doing a long study of an owl for example!
A very old piece of work that I wanted to include as it was created using my apple mac photobooth and random objects from my flat I think it works well to convey a comedic sequence.
In this project I decided to interpret a script I chose Equus the play by Peter Shaffer on reading it I decided to make a miniature set design based around the psychological state of the main character. These are some concept artworks
This is an observational sketch I did whilst on holiday in Portugal the drawing took me over an hour I was drawn to its ruggedness the fur animal strapped on and the various countries on each sticker.
At University we were told to go to the London Zoo to do observational sketches of animals here are some from my sketchbook I later used my crocodile drawings as a final piece.
Ive chosen these two cheeky drawings from my sketchbook as a first post to try and win my blog some sex appeal! both are using biro on handmade papers.
