Little white lies

These are my working progress concept drawings for the D&AD competition. The brief is to design a front cover for Little White Lies mag focassing on the portrait of a Nina in black swan. The markmaking I am using is supposed to be deconstructing half the face and showing a degree of phsycological termoil.

A shoot I helped style and photograph during fashion week I have been playing with the final images cutting and pasting them onto ink splashes.

The chicken or the man? Exhibition

This exhibition was a collaboration of friends from Uni creating work on the themes either human or nature. I created three acrylic paintings on wood which are based on predators and the dark side of becoming prey.It was a success as around 200 people showed up and I recieved some positive feedback about the hyena piece and gained some experience putting on the event.

The vast handmade book

This book I wrote and illustrated myself it is about my struggle with being able to conceive the enormity of space. I will be working on type and image together as this is a good first draft I will be refining the concept art later this year and will try to get it published.
